At our February member meeting Ron Houser from the Audubon Society of Bay County shared his presentation with us on “How to attract birds to your yard with native plants.”

2024/25 Junior Gardeners Program at Butler Elementary School in Santa Rosa Beach is off to a great start. September found the students preparing the six raised beds for planting. This month, plants in the ground include cabbage, lettuce, kale, strawberries, coreopsis, milkweed, butterfly bush and herbs. Special thanks to the teachers who support the program along with GTGC members Bonnie Fox, Denise Greene, Gail Pizar, Jan Shuttleworth and Mary Wooten.
