What a fantastic and informative meeting we had at Clay 30-A! It was a chilly but otherwise beautiful day. Jason and his team did an outstanding job demonstrating container gardening and plant fertilization. He was thrilled with the turnout and loved all of your questions! He’s ready for a spelling bee for sure! ? Clay is a spectacular garden and gift store and definitely worth the drive! ( just wait till After Spring Break)!

Congratulations to Anne Collins for putting together the Dessert and Design with David Robson program in Pensacola. ( Thank you Lisa Ermini for assisting Anne with her needs.) Y’all, I left there so inspired I felt like I could make an old tire look like a piece of art! ? I finally understand what the design part of floral design means! David is a Master talent and his designs were impressive! It was nice to see part of our Green Thumb family there!

Our April 19th meeting will be back at Westwinds! We’ll have a fun floral demonstration from Susan at Winn Dixie! She’ll show us how to take an ordinary bouquet and make it extraordinary! The club will provide the flowers and vessel. You need to bring greenery and your Cutters! It will be fun seeing all your creations!

Now is also the time we start renewing our memberships for the next club year! Nancy Sack and Jan Shuttleworth will be on hand to assist you or you can use the website. Remember that we have raised dues to $50. These two ladies work so hard for us.

On May 24th we will be going out with a bang! You will not want to miss our Petals, Pearls and Prosecco event! Bring out your hats, fascinators and pearls as we celebrate the ending of a fabulous club year while cheering on our new one! ? We will also award our Mercer scholarship recipient! Debbie Michel and her team have worked tirelessly to find the Best candidate for our club! Thank you to all!

I love all of you so much and can’t wait to see you at our April meeting.
As we go in to this Easter season let us be reminded that Easter is not about the bunny but about the Lamb! ✝️
