Walton County — your local food cooperative is incorporated, the platform is live, and our first real orders and deliveries are almost here. Stay close.
Harvest Hub Market Walton connects Walton County’s working farms with neighbors and visitors who want fresh, local food with a real story behind it.
Where we are today:
- Incorporated as a Florida cooperative — April 2026
- HarvestHubWalton.com platform activated and preparing for initial sales and delivery
- Freeport chosen for initial limited test of the entire system.
- Register’s Farm Store in Freeport confirmed as our first community hub
- Three farmer orientation sessions completed with strong producer interest
The platform was built by Tom Pooser — a Walton County farmer and developer who believed local food deserved better technology. Sean Mulcahey, a working farmer in North Walton, is helping lead from the farmer side to keep this cooperative grounded in agricultural reality.
As we move toward our first trial orders and deliveries, we are looking for citizens in Freeport willing to help us test the experience, spot any issues, and make sure everything works smoothly before we open to the public county-wide. Your eyes and feedback will make this better for every Walton County neighbor who comes after you.
We deeply appreciate everyone who steps up for this important next step.
