February 2023

Hello my friends!!

What a way to start the New Year! The January meeting was fantastic! It’s always so good to see everyone, and, although we had a lot of information coming at us we still had lots of time to visit. I Love that! ❤️ We are very fortunate to be so environmentally and culturally rich in our area. I can’t wait to hear how many of you were able to secure Seagrass reservations. 🥂

Y’all, we have a fun, busy Spring coming up! Mark your Calendars for the upcoming GTGC scheduled events:

February 15
We’ll be back at Westwinds with a 🐝 presentation by Register Farms. The place will be buzzing with excitement! On the business side, we will be asking the membership to approve the January meeting minutes (attached).

March 15
Our meeting will be at Clay Gardens on 30-A where we’ll get hands-on Container Gardening instructions!

April 19
We are planning a fun “Camp Day” at the Biophilia Center in Freeport. This is a completely different experience than before. We will actually visiting the “Camp” where our Summer scholarship recipients stay.

May 24
Our meeting will be a celebration of our 2022-23 club year! You will not want to miss the Premier of (drum roll please) Petals, Pearls and Prosecco!

It is my absolute pleasure to spread JOY to all of our club members! I love each and every one of you and can’t wait to see y’all soon! ❤️
